Just a quick update of YouTube videos. 9Bach, the Welsh language band who offer a new take on traditional folk songs were excellent at the Womex 2013 event at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff.

They soup up songs with a rocky beat and jagged harp, and they were bleak and beautiful,

And, stupidly shot lengthways rather than horizontally, if you can´t get McAnuff of Winston, here he is in the flesh. A jolly Jamaican vocalist with a commanding stage presence and a backing band of a human beatbox and a pianist.
